After gaining hype off his viral freestyle video, the Premier Space Entertainment Signee, has finally released his first single “Streets We dey” which is set to be on his debut album scheduled for release.

From the early stages of the 70’s, reggae has been the main musical element that has stood still till now, known as a genre that produces timeless records, it requires a Special talent to execute, and Phronesis has it all, at just twenty years, the versatile artiste has gained a youth-wise fan base, and his first single says it all, released as a single pack (an Afrobeats version and a reggae version) the singer displays his versatility between roots reggae and maintains the rhythms that comes with Afrobeats.

On a 50 sec freestyle which led to a reaction from music fans on social media, the longer versions are much moodier with boastful lines like “Me nuh send em, me nuh friend them” that sonically shows how elevated his writing skills are, his diction of words is direct, and the production skills on both versions navigate between the dance world and the conscious world with ease. The reggae version oscillates between plaintive and spiritual chorus on a well crafted beat by Beatsdakay.

Streetzbeatz handles the Afrobeats version, with drums and fast paced kicks that defines the cutting edge genre that is internationally recognized, “Streets we dey” makes you want to rise up and put in that extra hard work for day to day activities, it is hard to come away from listening  to a song like “Streets we dey” and not hum to the chorus, its addictive and suitable for any type of listener.
